A new report claims that Apple will unveil its first smart glasses in June 2027, with a commercial launch expected later in the year. The report also suggests that the company is preparing to introduce its latest smartwatches in 2026.
In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman claims that Apple plans to unveil its long-rumored smart glasses at WWDC 2027, giving developers time to build apps ahead of the product’s commercial release.

The Apple smart glasses, codenamed N50, were originally slated to debut this year. However, the company reportedly postponed the launch amid growing privacy concerns surrounding smart glasses, allowing it more time to address those issues and further refine the product.
Gurman also says Apple is gearing up to unveil the Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 later this year. Three new smartwatch models are reportedly in the late stages of testing, including the Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants of the Watch Series 12, codenamed N237 and N238, respectively, as well as the Watch Ultra 4, which carries the codename N240.
The upcoming smartwatches are not expected to introduce major design changes, but they are tipped to feature a new chipset alongside improved health and fitness tracking capabilities. Gurman adds that a new Watch SE is unlikely to arrive in 2026, as Apple launched the Watch SE 3 last year.
