Last week, the European pricing for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z foldables surfaced online. Now, a new report from South Korea has revealed the expected prices of the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, and Z Flip8 in the company’s home market.
According to the report, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z foldables will cost KRW 200,000 more than their predecessors.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is tipped to start at around KRW 2,278,000 ($1,499) in South Korea, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra could carry a starting price of KRW 2,577,000 ($1,685). Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is said to start at around KRW 1,683,000 ($1,099). These prices are reportedly for the 256GB base variant of the devices.
The report also claims that Samsung will open pre-orders for the new foldables in South Korea on July 28, with the pre-order window running through August 4. Deliveries for pre-order customers are said to begin on August 4, while open sales could start on August 7.
Samsung is said to announce the Galaxy Z Fold8 (wide), Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8 at its Galaxy Unpacked event in London, UK, on July 22.
