After teasing the iQOO 16’s redesigned rear camera module earlier this week, the company has now offered a closer look at the phone’s overall rear design. The handset will debut later this month alongside the iQOO Pad Ultra.
The iQOO 16’s square-shaped rear camera module features a raised lip surrounding the triple-camera setup, which is arranged in a unique layout. The LED flash is positioned in the top-right corner, outside the module, while the “100x Tele” text is printed inside the camera island.
The raised lip appears to offer some added protection to the camera lenses, which is a nice touch. Meanwhile, the rear panel of the ‘Light Chaser’ variant shown here features a distinctive hexagonal pattern.
The phone also appears to have a flat aluminum frame with rounded corners. iQOO also shared a short video of the phone that shows the new design.
As of right now, the company hasn’t confirmed any specifications of the iQOO 16. However, recent leaks suggest that the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset and come with a flat 6.85″ 165Hz 2K display. It is also said to pack an 8,400mAh battery.
