HMD 2760 Flip design and key specs leak, said to run Android 13 Go

HMD unveiled the 2660 Flip feature phone at MWC in March last year. The company now appears to be preparing its successor, the 2760 Flip, which is tipped to run Android.

According to a new leak, the HMD 2760 Flip will run Icon OS 13, which is based on Android 13 Go. This would mark a big change from its predecessor, which ran KaiOS. It also means that users will have access to the Google Play Store.

The 4G flip phone is tipped to feature a 2.8-inch main LCD display and a 1.77-inch outer screen. It is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T310 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

For cameras, the HMD 2760 Flip is said to feature a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.

The leak also suggests that the phone will pack a 2,500mAh battery, a USB Type-C port, microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options could include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and hotspot support. The flip phone is also said to feature a touchpad.

The HMD 2760 Flip is said to be available in Black, Cyan, and Pink color options. The upcoming phone looks similar in design to the Nokia 2660 Flip from 2022.
