We thought Honor would fully unveil MagicOS 11 based on Android 17 in August, but that didn’t happen. Now, the company has announced that it will finally be doing so next week, on September 15, during its Global Developer Conference. In fact, MagicOS 11 will be the star of the show.
According to Honor, we can expect a refreshed UI (with heavy inspiration from iOS and its Liquid Glass design language), improved charging (not sure what that means), and an enhanced storage cleanup feature.
Unsurprisingly, AI will be a big part of the update, with Honor saying the software will be capable of executing long-term tasks of up to 100 steps through a new generation AI assistant that aims to unburden your daily life.
