The brand-new Honor X9e Pro is now official in Malaysia, and it brings two standout features. The first is a 10,000-nit bright display, which we’ll cover in a bit, and the second is an 11,000mAh battery. That’s the same typical capacity as the Honor X80 Pro Max, which launched earlier in June, and both phones share the same core specs.
The impressive battery capacity is achieved thanks to silicon-carbon anode tech, and Honor’s lab tests claim the X9e Pro can do over 164 hours of music streaming, 35 hours of short-form video playback and well over 66 hours of regular video playback. Honor is also pledging a six-year battery health expectancy with an average use of 6 hours per day.
When you do need to charge the phone, it supports 80W wired speeds, and of course it can also act as a portable power bank thanks to its 27W reverse wired charging.
Outside of the gargantuan battery, the X9e Pro brings a 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That headline-grabbing 10,000 nits’ peak brightness is only achievable in isolated spots during HDR video playback.
But the X9e Pro also gets a bump up to 16MP on its front-facing camera compared to the 8MP selfie shooter on the X80 Pro Max. The back houses the same 108MP (1/1.67”) main shooter, which is accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide lens.
The rest of the specs include a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip, 8GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. The X9e Pro features IP69K ingress protection, with Honor claiming its lab testing procedures covered a whopping 100,000 (!) repeated water submersion tests. The software side is covered by MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Honor X9e Pro comes in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black colors. Pricing in Malaysia starts at MYR 1,899 ($464) for the 8/256GB trim and goes up to MYR 2,399 ($587) for the version with 512GB storage.
