Rishab Shetty‘s highly anticipated sequel ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is set to hit the big screen soon. With less than half a month to its premiere, the makers have started sharing updates regarding the trailer release of the upcoming folklore drama.As per the latest post shared by the makers on social media, Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan will unveil the Hindi trailer of the film. Sharing more details about the trailer, they mentioned it will be released on September 22. They wrote, “When the force of nature meets the fire of a Superstar. The Hindi Trailer of #KantaraChapter1 will be unveiled by the phenomenal @iHrithik Sir. More legends. More languages. The roar of #Kantara will now echo across the world. Multiple language release

Directed and headlined by Rishab Shetty, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ will be a pan-India release and will hit the theatres on October 2nd in multiple languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.As the makers mentioned, “More legends. More languages”, fans in the comment section have been speculating that stars from multiple industries will be unveiling the trailer of the respective language.

What is ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ about

‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ will be a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kannada film ‘Kantara’, which will explore the ancient past of the folklore showcased in the first part. The upcoming movie is touted to be set in 300 CE during the reign of the Kadamba dynasty and will showcase the origins of the ritualistic Bhuta Kola/Daiva Kola tradition featured in the first installment.

Work front for Hrithik

Speaking of Hrithik Roshan‘s work, the ‘Fighter’ actor was last seen in the spy action film, ‘War 2’, sharing screen with Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. He is now expected to be working on the next installment of the superhero franchise, ‘Krrish 4’.
