Last month, Huawei semi-announced the Pura X View, revealing some but not all of its specs. Today, the company has finally rectified that, by fully unveiling the device with its unique form factor.
The Pura X View comes with a 6.39-inch OLED screen with 1320×2232 resolution, 16:9.5 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 6,500-nit peak brightness at 1% APL. The display has Kunlun Glass on top and supports 2,160Hz PWM dimming. It has 1.05mm symmetrical bezels on all four sides.
On the rear there’s a 200MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture, OIS, and an 88mm-equivalent focal length. For selfies you get a 50MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture.
The phone is powered by the Kirin 9030S chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage. There’s a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, as well as both reverse wired and reverse wireless charging.
The Pura X View runs HarmonyOS 7. It’s IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance. It supports BeiDou satellite messaging, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is available in black, white, gray, and red.

It starts at CNY 5,999 ($893) for the 256GB version, goes up to CNY 6,999 ($1,042) with 512GB of storage, and tops out at CNY 8,499 ($1,266) with 1TB of storage. It’s currently on pre-order, and will be released on September 9 at 10:08 AM local time in China. There’s no information about whether it will be sold in other markets.
