Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has an aggressive product strategy, with 15 new models slated to arrive by 2030. The company also planning major investments to increase production capacity across the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. The upcoming lineup will include multiple all-new products along with new-generation models, facelifts and rebadged Maruti Suzuki vehicles.
Over the next couple of years, the Japanese automaker will introduce the Urban Cruiser Ebella electric SUV, 7-seater Hyryder, next-generation Hilux pickup truck and Fortuner SUV, and Land Cruiser FJ. The updated Toyota Taisor and new-gen Glanza might also be launched following the arrival of the new Fronx facelift and all-new Baleno, respectively.
Upcoming Toyota 7-Seater SUVs
Talking about the three-row premium offerings, Toyota’s product lineup will consist of the 7-seater Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the next-generation Toyota Fortuner. While the launch timelines of both SUVs are yet to be revealed, the Toyota Hyryder 7-seater is currently in its initial testing phase and expected to arrive in late 2026 or sometime in 2027. Toyota Hyryder 7-Seater
Recent sighting hints that the 7-seater Toyota Hyryder could be offered with an AWD drivetrain option. Compared to its 5-seater sibling, it will be longer and offer more cabin space to accommodate an additional row of seats. Most design elements and features are expected to remain similar to the 5-seater Hyryder. In fact, the three-row version might share the 1.5L mild hybrid petrol and strong hybrid powertrains with the 5-seater Hyryder.
New-Gen Toyota Fortuner
The next-generation Toyota Fortuner will receive radical design changes along with an all-new platform and significant feature upgrades. The SUV will feature the brand’s new ‘future-focused’ design language and derive inspiration from the new-gen Hilux. In terms of features, the all-new Fortuner could be packed with ‘Toyota Safety Sense 3’ ADAS suite, a panoramic view monitor, a multi-terrain monitor, and more. Mechanically, the SUV might remain unchanged, featuring 2.8L diesel and 2.7L petrol engines.
