Hyundai Verna facelift: Variant-wise features with price explained

Hyundai Motor India recently launched the new Hyundai Verna facelift in the Indian market. The updated Verna receives cosmetic upgrades, new features, added safety and much more. It’s now priced between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (both prices ex-showroom) and continues to compete with the Honda City, VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia. Interested customers can book the sedan online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to start by the end of this month. The updated Verna also receives new variant names and is offered in six variants – HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. Additionally, it also gets two new colour options – Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte. In this article, let’s take a look at variant-wise features with price.

Hyundai Verna HX2HX2 gets six airbags, hill start assist, ABS, EBD, ESC, rear parking sensors, day/night IRVM, auto headlamps, keyless entry, rear defogger, halogen projector headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, dual-tone interior, fabric seat upholstery, manual seat height adjustment, rear centre armrest with cupholders, front adjustable headrests, all power windows, tilt-adjust steering, Type-C ports and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

HX4 The HX4 gets tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), LED positioning lamp, DRLs and tail-lamps, rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, 15-inch alloy wheels, sliding front centre armrest with storage, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster with TFT display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, front and rear speakers, steering-mounted controls, idle stop/start, sunroof, automatic climate control, telescopic steering adjust, rear AC vents, cooled glovebox, cruise control and LED cabin lamps.

HX6The HX6 additionally gets rear-view camera, front parking sensors, auto-dimming IRVM, push-button start, height-adjustable front seatbelts, LED projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, rear adjustable headrests, front tweeters, rear window sunshades, paddle shifters (CVT), auto-release tailgate, drive modes (CVT), wireless phone charger, ambient lighting and electrically foldable ORVMs. There’s also HX6+ trim which adds leatherette seat upholstery, an 8-speaker Bose sound system and front seat ventilation.

HX8 The HX8 adds electronic parking brake (DCT), rear disc brakes, dash cam (turbo-petrol), Level 2 ADAS (turbo-petrol), 16-inch dark grey alloy wheels (turbo-petrol), all-black theme with red accents (turbo-petrol), red front brake callipers (turbo-petrol), 8-way power driver seat adjust with memory, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, rain-sensing wipers and metal pedals (turbo-petrol). HX10The top-of-the-line HX10 gets 7-airbags, a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitor, a 4-way powered front passenger seat, powered boss mode for the front passenger seat and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.
