ICICI Prudential AMC Q3 Results: Profit jumps 45% YoY to Rs 917 crore; co declares Rs 14.85 dividend per share


ICICI Prudential AMC delivered a strong set of numbers for the December quarter, with profits rising sharply on the back of operating leverage and sustained growth in fee income. For the third quarter, profit after tax rose 45% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 917 crore from Rs 632 crore in the year-ago period.

The company declared a dividend of Rs 14.85 per share to shareholders and fixed January 21 as the record date for this purpose.

Profit before tax for the quarter increased 47% YoY to Rs 1,219 crore as against Rs 828 crore a year ago. Operating profit before tax stood at Rs 1,110 crore, compared with Rs 853 crore in the December 2024 quarter, marking an increase of around 30%.

The strong quarterly performance was reflected in the nine-month numbers as well. For the nine months ended December 2025, operating profit before tax rose to Rs 3,043 crore from Rs 2,370 crore in the corresponding period last year, an increase of about 28%.

Profit before tax for the nine months grew to Rs 3,368 crore from Rs 2,616 crore, up 29%, while profit after tax increased to Rs 2,535 crore from Rs 1,959 crore, a growth of around 29%.


Asset growth remained robust during the quarter, supported by strong inflows into equity and hybrid products. Mutual fund quarterly average assets under management rose to Rs 10.76 lakh crore in the third quarter, compared with Rs 8.73 lakh crore a year earlier, translating into a growth of about 23%. The company’s market share stood at 13.3% during the quarter.

Assets under actively managed schemes increased to Rs 9.08 lakh crore from Rs 7.53 lakh crore in the year-ago quarter, registering a growth of around 21%. Actively managed products accounted for a market share of 13.5%, reflecting continued investor preference for active strategies.Equity and equity-oriented schemes remained the key growth driver. Quarterly average AUM in this segment rose to Rs 6.08 lakh crore from Rs 4.92 lakh crore a year earlier, a growth of about 24%, with the company’s market share in the segment improving to 13.8%.

The company’s unique customer base grew to 16.17 million as of December 2025, compared with 14.33 million a year earlier, reflecting a growth of around 12.8%. The AMC serviced investors through more than 1,12,000 empanelled distribution partners across 278 offices.
