Renault India is all set to launch the updated Kiger subcompact SUV on 24th August, 2025. Ahead of its official arrival, the carmaker has released a teaser showcasing its C-shaped taillamps, shark fin antenna and sporty rear bumper. The new 2025 Renault Kiger compact SUV will also get a new, bright Green exterior colour as highlighted in the teaser.

Previous spy images reveal that the updated model will feature a completely revised front fascia featuring a new grille housing Renault’s new logo at the center and a more prominent upright nose. The split headlamps will be carried over from the current model. The side profile is likely to remain largely unchanged, retaining its dual-tone diamond cut alloy wheels, a tapering roofline, thick body cladding, roof rails and squarish wheel arches.
New Renault Kiger 2025 – Updated Cabin
Interior details are still under the wraps. However, the new 2025 Renault Kiger is expected to come with a new freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, new cabin theme and seat upholstery. Most features from the current model are likely to be retained including a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless charger, automatic AC, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, steering mounted control, air filter, ambient lighting, and more.
New Renault Kiger 2025 – Same Engine
No mechanical changes are expected. The new 2025 Renault Kiger facelift will continue to be offered with two petrol engine options – a 1.0L naturally aspirated and a 1.0L turbo. While the former is good enough for 72PS and 96Nm, the latter produces a maximum power of 100PS and 160Nm. Transmission options will also remain unchanged – i.e. a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic. The CNG option will continue to be available as dealership level retrofit.
New Renault Kiger 2025 – Price Expectations
Prices of the new 2025 Renault Kiger are expected to be more or less similar to the current model, which is priced between Rs 6.15 lakh – Rs 11.23 lakh (ex-showroom). In the sub-4 metre compact SUV segment, the new Kiger will compete with the Nissan Kiger, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Maruti Brezza.
