Insta360 is expanding its Luna series of gimbal cameras with the new Luna Pro. The handheld gimbal camera features a 1-inch sensor paired with a Leica Summicron lens, along with support for 8K Dolby Vision video recording and 10-bit I-Log.
The Insta360 Luna Pro is powered by a 4nm chipset and also features a dedicated image processor, enabling its 1-inch sensor to capture video at up to 8K resolution and up to 1080p 240fps slow-motion footage.
The gimbal camera features 3-axis stabilization, along with 2x lossless zoom and up to 4x HighRes zoom.
The Luna Pro also features a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen with easy-to-use controls. It comes with 47GB of built-in storage and is claimed to offer up to four hours of battery life on a single charge.
For professional video workflows, the Luna Pro supports 10-bit I-Log and ACES. The camera is now available for purchase through Insta360’s official store, Amazon, and select retailers.
The Luna Pro is priced at $600 in the US and is available in Cosmic Black and Stellar White colorways. It joins the Luna Ultra, which features a dual-sensor setup.
