According to a new report from China, the iPhone Ultra, Apple’s first foldable smartphone, will be launching on time alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, most likely in September.
This information allegedly comes from multiple sources inside Apple’s supply chain, and none of them have ever even heard of any delays. The iPhone Ultra being delayed (either in terms of introduction or availability) constituted a popular subject for rumors a while back, but this has since been contradicted by multiple other sources.

Furthermore, the aforementioned supply chain sources claim that the iPhone Ultra’s design has already been finalized and that the device is currently in the mass production phase. It’s not only expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but also made available for purchase at the same time in late September.
The only piece of the puzzle that’s still missing is how many units will be ready to go on the first day of availability – the number will obviously be lower than the ones for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but if it’s very low then we might see the iPhone Ultra’s initial batch selling out rather quickly.
