The Kia Syros EV is finally here. The carmaker has unveiled the electric SUV ahead of its official launch later this month. Pre-bookings have also been commenced at a token sum of Rs 25,000 through the Kia India’s official website and dealerships nationwide. It will be brand’s smallest and most affordable electric offering in the country.

Kia India says that “The Syros EV is designed to deliver exactly that confidence, combining the bold design and versatility of an SUV with EV-focused technologies, segment-leading features and uncompromising safety.”
Battery, Range & Charging Time
The Kia Syros EV lineup will be available in seven rims across two battery pack options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh – delivering an ARAI-certified range of 443km and 526km, respectively. It’s the first electric SUV in its segment to cross the 500km mark. The new Kia electric SUV accelerates 0 to 100kmph in just 81. Seconds with the 51.4kWh pack.
The EV also offers segment-best 171PS power output and best-in-segment DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes (110kW charger). It’s also available with a 10.8kW onboard AC charging capability, backed by the K-Charge ecosystem’s Integrated Route Planner and flexible charging controls.

To enhance ownership experience, Kia India offers an ownership package including a lifetime high voltage battery warranty, an assured buyback programme and flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing. Kia has also equipped the Syros EV with exclusive technologies including Paddle Shifters for Regenerative Braking with Auto Mode and i-Pedal, Vehicle-to-Load (Internal), a Battery Heating System, Digital Key, Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS) and Shift-by-Wire – Column Type.
