The latest addition to the Lava Bold series is now official, but it’s not an entirely new phone. Lava Bold 2 5G is actually a rebadged Blaze Amoled 2, which launched back in August of last year. The only difference between the two is the price tag, with the Bold 2 launching at INR 12,999 ($140). That’s INR 1,000 less than the Blaze Amoled 2’s starting price for the same 6GB RAM and 128GB storage trim.

Lava Bold 2 5G will be available via Amazon, starting from Thursday, March 19. It comes in the same Feather White and Midnight Black colors and boots Android 15 out of the box. As a reminder, the Bold 2/Blaze Amoled 2 both feature 6.67-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz), MediaTek’s Dimensity 7060 chipset, a 50MP main cam (IMX752) and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
