Leaked renders reveal Samsung Galaxy A18’s design

Samsung is expected to expand its budget Galaxy A-series lineup with the launch of the Galaxy A18 in the coming months. And now, leaked renders have now revealed the phone’s design.

The renders, shared by Smartphone Checker in collaboration with prolific tipster OnLeaks, are said to be based on CAD files supplied by Samsung to case makers.

Based on the leaked images, the Galaxy A18 retains a design that’s largely similar to its predecessor.

It features a familiar triple rear camera setup, although the camera housing appears to sit more flush with the rear panel.

According to the leak, the Galaxy A18 will measure 164.4 x 77.8 x 7.84mm, making it 0.1mm slimmer and 0.34mm thicker than the [Galaxy A17]().

On the front, the phone appears to feature an Infinity-U display with relatively thick bezels, much like its predecessor.

A recent report also claimed that the Galaxy A18 will be offered in both 4G and 5G variants, with neither model expected to use an Exynos chipset. Instead, the 4G version is tipped to feature a MediaTek chipset, while the 5G model could be powered by a Snapdragon SoC.

More details about the Samsung Galaxy A18 are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
