When she returned, the valuable items had disappeared with no sign of forced entry. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigated the high-value theft, estimated at around USD 80,000 for the bespoke rose-cut diamond ring designed by McDowell with jeweler Irene Neuwirth. A suspect, Andreea Catalina Rosca, later emerged as a person of interest in related spa burglaries, but the ring stayed missing until now.
