The upcoming Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition has starting arriving at dealerships ahead of its official launch. Based on the AX7 L trim, the special edition receives a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular model. One of the key design highlights is the 19-inch black alloy wheels replacing the standard dual-tone units. The Thar Roxx Star Edition will be offered exclusively in Stealth Black paint scheme.

Interior Updates
What differentiates the interior will be the black cabin theme, complemented by a beige roof liner and beige door panels. The Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition will also feature a black dashboard, darker interior trims and black seat leatherette upholstery.
Features On Offer
The feature list is likely to remain identical to the regular model that comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, rear AC vents, height adjustable driver seat, rear parking sensors, electronic brake locking differential, electronic stability program with roll-over mitigation, hill hold and hill descent control, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear defogger, tyre pressure monitoring system, and more.
Petrol & Diesel Engines
Mechanically, the upcoming Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition is expected to remain unchanged. The standard SUV lineup comes with the 2.0L mStallion T-GDi turbo petrol and 2.2L mHawk turbo diesel engine options. While the petrol motor produces a maximum power of 152bhp with 300Nm (MT)/320Nm (AT) torque, the oil burner delivers power worth 132bhp and 300Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Price Expectations
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is currently available within the price range of Rs Rs 12.25 lakh – Rs 22.06 lakh (all, ex-showroom). Prices for the higher AX7 L variants start from Rs 18.66 lakh (for the RWD diesel manual) and go up to Rs 22.06 lakh (for the 4WD diesel automatic). The Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition is expected to command a slightly premium over the standard AX7 L variants, depending on the engine, gearbox and drivetrain configuration.
