Mahindra XUV 7XO Bookings Date & Details – Debut On 5th Jan 2026


Mahindra & Mahindra has released yet another teaser of the upcoming XUV7XO ahead of its official debut on January 5, 2026. Pre-bookings for the SUV are slated to begin on December 15, 2025, with a token amount of Rs 21,000. The Mahindra XUX 7XO is essentially the facelifted XUV700, featuring significant design upgrades and feature enhancements.

New Colour & Design

The latest teaser shows the SUV in a new Red colour scheme, showcasing a revised grille, blacked-out ORVMs and LED projector headlamps with a twin-pod like design. The SUV might also feature revised bumpers, new LED DRL signature and new connected full-width light bar. The sheet metal on the bonnet, fenders and doors is likely to remain intact.

Upmarket Interior

Inside, the Mahindra XUV 7XO is likely to feature a triple screen setup similar to the XEV 9e. It will comprise of a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a secondary passenger display. The feature list might also include ventilated front and rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting, sliding second row seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless charger and more.

Safety Features

The Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite is likely to be upgraded, and offer more safety features. It will also offer 7 airbags, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability control and hill hold assist.

Engine Options

Mechanically, the XUV700 facelift will remain unchanged. As the new Mahindra XUV 7XO, it will continue to use the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines. The petrol engine, with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, offers a maximum power of 200PS and 380Nm of torque.

The diesel engine generates power up to 185PS and torque up to 450Nm. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. FWD (front-wheel drive) system will continue to come as standard, while AWD (all-wheel drive) will be offered exclusively with the diesel variants.
