Maruti Car Sales Report
In January 2026, Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 236,963 units, which is its highest ever monthly sales volume. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 178,300 units, sales to OEM of 7,643 units and exports of 51,020 units. Notably, the exports reached an all-time monthly high.
Tata Car Sales Report
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. sales in the domestic & international market for January 2026 stood at 71,066 units, compared to 48,316 units during January 2025.
Hyundai Car Sales Report
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recorded its highest-ever monthly domestic sales of 59,107 units in January 2026, registering a 9.5% year-on-year growth. HMIL also achieved its highest-ever total monthly sales of 73,137 units in January 2026, with a robust year-on-year growth of 11.5%, including monthly export sales of 14,030 units with year-on-year growth of 20.9%.
Toyota Car Sales Report
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced its sales performance for the month of January 2026, with the total sales of 33,880 units compared to 29,371 units sold in January 2025. This includes 30,630 units sold in domestic market while 3,250 units were exported.
Kia Car Sales Report
Kia India commenced calendar year 2026 on a positive note reporting total sales of 27,603 units in January. Marking a year-on-year growth of 10.3% over 25,025 units sold in January 2025.
MG Car Sales Report
JSW MG Motor India registers a 9% year-on-year growth in January 2026 compared to the same month in 2025. MG SELECT, the brand’s luxury retail channel continued with its strong performance, led by robust consumer demand for the Cyberster—the world’s fastest MG and the M9 Presidential Limousine.
Meanwhile, the MG Windsor, India’s best-selling electric car and the recently launched The ALL-New Hector continued to drive sales for the company, showing sustained demand across its ICE and EV portfolios. The company sold 4,843 wholesale units in the first month of CY2026. To further strengthen its position in the SUV segment, the company is gearing up to introduce India’s First D+ SUV – MG MAJESTOR – in February.
Honda Car Sales Report
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) announced it sold 6,193 units in January 2026. Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales (HCIL) highlighted the year began on a strong note with healthy momentum, attributing demand to the Amaze, City, and Elevate, expressing confidence in sustaining this positive trend in the coming months.
