MG Majestor Teased Ahead of Launch – India’s 1st D+ SUV


JSW MG Motor India has released the official teaser of the upcoming Majestor three-row SUV ahead of its official unveiling on 12th February, 2026. It is beings claimed to be India’s first D+ SUV, featuring the longest, widest, and tallest dimensions in its segment. The carmaker says that the MG Majestor has been “designed to deliver unstoppable performance across urban and rugged terrains, it redefines excellence in SUV capability.”

Rugged Design

The teaser showcases the SUV’s commanding design language, highlighted by the Majestic Matrix combination grille, complemented by sharp Falcon-type DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps) and modern split-style headlamps. The MG Majestor will also feature newly-designed front and rear bumpers, massive body cladding, five-spoke 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, black roof rails and door handles, exhaust tips on both sides and connected LED taillamps. However, the sheet metal on the bonnet, fenders and doors will be similar to the Gloster.

Interior & Features

Considering its premium positioning, the MG Majestor is expected to offer several advanced features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver’s display, a 12-sepaker sound system, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, heated, cooled and massaging driver’s seat with power adjust, heated passenger seat, a three-spoke steering wheel, a 360 degree cameras, electronic parking brake with auto hold, Level 2 ADAS and many more.

Engine & Gearbox

Fow power, the MG Majestor is expected to use the Gloster’s 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine, which generates a peak power of 216bhp and 479Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be performed by an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox, while an AWD (all-wheel drive) system will come as standard.

Competition & Pricing

With rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line in its sight, the Majestor is expected to be priced around Rs 39.50 lakh – Rs 44 lakh (ex-showroom).
