Tata Motors has launched the Aeris compact sedan, which is essentially the facelifted version of the Tigor. Priced between Rs 5.29 lakh and Rs 9.74 lakh, ex-showroom, the Tata Aeris direct rivals the segment-leaders like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.

1. Aeris Smart – Starts at Rs 5.29 lakh
The entry-level Smart variant is barebones on comfort and convenience, but incredibly strong on safety and security. It is packed with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, rear parking sensors, and a 5-inch digital instrument console.
This variant directly targets customers looking for a sedan at a very tight budget, and prioritizes safety over screens and comfort.
2. Aeris Pure – Starts at Rs 6.14 lakh
This variant adds some basic features such as a basic audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, power windows, multi-functional steering wheel, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and speed-sensitive auto door locks.
3. Aeris Pure+ – Starts at Rs 6.74 lakh
This variant brings more tech features that adds to overall comfort and convenience. It gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reverse parking camera, rear AC vents, and cruise control. This variant also gets 15-inch steel wheels with stylized wheel covers. The CNG version also gets 14-inch wheels.
4. Aeris Creative – Starts at Rs 7.49 lakh
The second-top variant completely changed the game, as it brings several high-end tech features and exterior upgrades. The Creative variant is packed with a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment unit, a 360-degree surround view camera with blind-view monitor, and automatic climate control.
