The next-generation Kia Seltos will go on sale in India with its official price announcement scheduled for tomorrow (2nd January, 2026). Bookings for the SUV are already underway across the country, with deliveries set to begin from mid-January. Compared to the current generation, the new 2026 Kia Seltos will be priced slightly higher, with the fully loaded top variant expected to cost around Rs 20 lakh. However, the entry-level variant is likely to be priced close to the current base model, which starts at Rs 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

Design Highlights
Based on the new K3 platform, the new 2026 Kia Seltos derives its design inspiration from the new Kia Telluride. It features Kia’s ‘Tiger Face’ grille with LED headlamps, multiple LED DRLs, faux silver skid plate with gloss black elements, 18-inch alloy wheels, gloss-black wheel arches and LED taillamps. The SUV is the longest in its segment, and offers the second longest wheelbase in its category.
Engine Options
The engine setup remains unchanged. The new Kia Seltos 2026 continues to come with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (115bhp/144Nm), 1.5L turbo petrol (160bhp/253Nm) and 1.5L diesel (116bhp/250Nm) engine options. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic, a CVT automatic, an iMT (clutchless manual transmission) and a 7-speed DCT automatic.
