The new 2026 Kia Seltos has finally gone on sale in India at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV model lineup comes in multiple trim levels including HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX, HTX (A), GTX, GTX (A) and X-Line. While bookings are already commenced nationwide, deliveries are likely to start in the coming weeks.

In the midsize SUV segment, the all-new Seltos will continue to take on the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, the newly-launched Tata Sierra, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.

Modern Design Language

Built on the new K3 platform, the new Kia Seltos 2026 receives radical design updates inspired by the globally sold Kia Telluride SUV. Upfront, the SUV features Kia’s signature ‘Tiger Face’ grille with LED headlamps with LED DRL strips, revised body-coloured bumper, faux silver skid plate, fog lamp assembly and gloss black elements.

The side profile is enhanced by the pronounced gloss-black wheel arches, flush-type door handles and 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the new Seltos sports a redesigned bumper in gloss-black finish and body-coloured elements, connected taillamps (similar to the Carens Claivs) and a faux silver skid plate.

Dimensions & Colour Options

Compared to its predecessor, the new 2026 Kia Seltos is 95mm longer, 30mm wider and features an 80mm longer wheelbase. However, its overall height has been trimmed down by 10mm. The SUV now measures 4460mm in length, 1830mm in width and 1635mm in height with a wheelbase of 2690mm.

It’s available in multiple colour options including Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Frost Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, Morning Haze, Ivory Silver Gloss, Gravity Grey, Magma Red and Pewter Olive. One must note that Aurora Black Pearl and Xclusive Matte Graphite paint schemes are reserved for the X-Line trim.

Premium Interior

The new Kia Selots 2026 offers a more premium and upmarket interior than its predecessor. The triple screen layout is its major highlight consisting of a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 5-inch HVAC display.

Even the base variant is well-equipped, offering features such as new three-spoke steering with mounted controls, centre console with armrest and cupholders, USB-C charging ports (2 front and 2 rear), keyless entry, rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORMVs, 6 airbags, hill start assist, electronic stability control, ABS and tyre pressure monitor.

Exclusive Features

Advanced features such as Level-2 ADAS, reverse parking collision avoidance assist, smart cruise control with stop and go, parking collision avoidance assist, a 360-degree camera, 2 side parking sensors, 10-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and memory function for the driver’s seat and ORVMs are exclusively to higher trims.

Engine & Gearbox Options

The carmaker has carried forward the 1.5L turbo petrol, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engines to the new 2026 Kia Seltos. The power and torque figures remain unchanged, and the SUV lineup continues to come with five gearbox options.
