New 2026 Renault Duster Testing at Full Swing Ahead of Jan Launch

The third-generation Renault Duster is finally heading to India. The SUV is currently undergoing rigorous testing and has been caught on camera multiple times. The all-new model is set to make its official debut on 26th January 2026, followed soon by its market launch. This time around, the Duster will face intense competition from SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos and more.

All-New Design

Based on the modular CMF-B platform, the 2026 Renault Duster will feature an all-new design language and look largely similar to its global-spec counterpart – Dacia Duster. The front fascia will have aggressive appeal with a newly-designed grille featuring Renault’s new logo, a sporty bumper, new polygonal headlamps and Y-shaped LED DRLs.

New Renault Duster Hybrid Launch

Massive body cladding, pronounced wheel arches, ORVMs with integrated turn signals, newly-designed alloy wheels, roof rails and C-pillar mounted rear door handles will enhance its side profile. At the back, the new Renault Duster 2026 will feature Y-shaped taillamps, a sporty bumper and a heavily raked windshield.

Upmarket Interior

Interior details are scanty at the moment. However, the new 2026 Renault Duster is likely to offer a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, rear parking sensors, multiple airbags, ADAS and more.

Petrol Engines Only

In India, the new Renault Duster 2026 will be offered with petrol engines only. The carmaker is likely to use the 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol and 156bhp, 1.3L turbo petrol engines for the lower and higher variants, respectively. A hybrid version might join the lineup at a later stage. Renault might also consider a Duster CNG variant for India.

Expected Price Range

The 2026 Renault Duster is expected to be priced aggressive against its rivals. Its base variant is likely to cost around Rs 11-12 lakh, while the top-end petrol variant might be priced around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
