If you’re looking for a three-row family car, it might be worth waiting a little longer as Vinfast is set to launch a new Limo Green electric MPV in the coming weeks. After the VF6 and VF7, it will become the brand’s third electric offering in India. With an estimated price of around Rs 18 lakh – Rs 25 lakh, the Vinfast Limo Green will be a direct rival to the BYD eMax7, Mahindra XEV 9S and Kia Carens Clavis EV. The carmaker’s Tamil Nadu manufacturing plant will serve as production hub for the EV MPV.
Battery, Range & Charging Time
Starting with the powertrain, the India-bound Vinfast Limo Green is likely to be offered with a larger 60.13kWh battery pack, paired with an electric motor. This layout delivers a claimed power of 204bhp and 280Nm of torque, along with a driving range of 450km (NEDC) on a single charge. Power is delivered to the front-wheels.
The electric MPV offers three driving modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport. It can be charged from 10 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes by using an 80kW DC fast charger. Additionally, it will support 11kW AC charging.
Dimensions & Colours
Similar to the global-spec version, the Vinfast Limo Green coming to India will measure 4,740mm in length, 1,872mm in width and 1,728mm in height. The MPV sits on a 2,840mm long wheelbase, and offers a ground clearance of 170mm. It could be offered in exterior colour schemes – Limo Yellow, Limo Silver, Limo Black and Limo Red.
Interior & Features
The Limo Green offers a minimalist EV-style dashboard along with a single central touchscreen infotainment system and HUD (Head-Up Display). With 7-seater configuration (2+3+2), the electric MPV is designed to cater to both family buyers and fleet operators. The front row is driver-focused, while the second row gets a sliding bench for added flexibility and practicality. The third-row seats are good enough for adults. The MPV comes packed with features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4-speaker sound system, single-zone automatic climate control, electronic parking brake with auto hold and more.
