Skoda has confirmed that the production-ready version of the Vision 7S concept will be called Peaq. It will essentially be a 7-seater electric SUV, positioned against the Mercedes-Benz GLB and Peugeot e-5008 in global markets. Being a flagship offering, the new Skoda Peaq will be the most expensive offering from the Czech automaker, priced a premium over the Enyaq EV. The EV will make its world debut in summer 2026, followed by the announcement of official specifications and pricing.

Official Statement
Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, says: “With the Vision 7S, we entered new territory for Škoda, with a clear idea of how to elevate the brand. Since then, we have introduced a new design language and further refined our product identity. Now we are bringing this innovative vehicle concept to life. Our new flagship model takes our brand values of spaciousness and practicality to a whole new level. As of today, our bold vision for Škoda’s electric future has a name: Peaq – a clear statement of where this model belongs in our portfolio.”
Skoda Peaq EV – What to Expect?
The Skoda Vision 7S concept, which was showcased at last year’s Bharat Mobility Show, is expected to make its way to India in its production-ready avatar in 2027. Measuring nearly 4.9 metres in length, the three-row EV is likely to stay true to its concept. Similar to the show car, the production-ready Skoda Peaq is likely to use sustainable materials inside the cabin such as leather-free upholstery.
Battery & Range
The showcased concept was equipped with an 89kWh battery pack and claimed to offer WLTP range of over 600km per charge. Skoda has also stated that the Peaq will support fast charging of up to 200kW. It could be offered with RWD (rear-wheel drive) and AWD (all-wheel drive) configurations.
