RedMagic has been teasing the successor to its Gaming Tablet 3 Pro for some time, but has yet to reveal any key specifications. It is confirmed to be called the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, and a tipster has now shared new details about the tablet.
While the brand has confirmed that the tablet will offer an OLED display, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that it will sport a 9-inch panel with 185Hz refresh rate and a 2400 x 1504-pixel resolution.
The Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and feature a liquid cooling system.
It is tipped to come with an 8,300mAh battery, RGB lighting, and a transparent design. As per the tipster, the tablet will be offered in Tritium Transparent Silver Wing, Tritium Transparent Dark Night, and Gold Legend color options.
The tablet will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and 24GB/1TB RAM and storage configurations. While a launch date is still not known, the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is currently available for pre-order in China. It is likely to launch in global markets as the RedMagic Astra 2.
