While the front fascia was heavily camouflaged concealing most design elements, several design were clearly visible. These include a steeply raked windscreen, an upright stance, 18-inch wheels, a roof spoiler and minimal front and rear overhangs. The new Creta might feature a slightly stretched wheelbase, which should help improve overall cabin space.

Engine Options

Mechanically, the new Hyundai Creta 2027 is expected to remain largely unchanged. The current-generation SUV lineup is available with a 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 116, 1.5L turbocharged petrol and a 160bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel engine.

A 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard across the range, while a CVT automatic transmission will be available only with the NA petrol engine. The diesel engine will be offered with a 6-speed automatic, whereas the turbo petrol motor will continue to get a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

Hyundai Creta Hybrid in 2027

The new-gen Creta will also receive a strong hybrid powertrain in 2027. The carmaker is likely to hybridize the 1.5L NA petrol engine for the SUV. The same hybrid powertrain will be introduced in the Kia Seltos lineup during the same period.
