New Mahindra Scorpio N Coming Soon


The Mahindra Scorpio N was introduced as the third-generation model in 2022, with radical design changes, feature upgrades, tech enhancements and new engines. The SUV has always been admired for its rugged styling, commanding road presence, off-road capabilities and powerful engines. Since its arrival, the Scorpio N hasn’t received any significant change, expected Level-2 ADAS upgrade in top trims and a few additional features.

Considering its strong aspirational value among buyers, the homegrown automaker is now gearing up to launch the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the updated model is expected to go on sale by mid-2026. Mahindra is extensively testing the updated Scorpio N, and its test mules have been spotted multiple times revealing some interesting details.

So, what will the new Mahindra Scorpio N have on offer? Let’s take a look.

Refreshing looks

Based on spy images, it’s evident that the updated Scorpio N will retain its upright stance and robust body built. The front fascia will be redesigned with a new grille, revised headlamps with LED DRL signature and a slightly tweaked bumper. The SUV might also come with the newly-designed and larger alloy wheels. Dimensionally, it’s expected to remain unchanged, measuring 4,662 mm in length, 1,917 mm in width and 1,857 mm in height. It will have a wheelbase of 2,750 mm and a ground clearance of 187 mm.

More premium features

Interior details are scanty at the moment. However, the new Mahindra Scorpio N facelift might receive a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital TFT instrument cluster, a driver seat with memory function and powered front seats. The rest of the features are likely to be carried over from the current model.

What will be under the hood?

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to retain the existing 2.2L turbo diesel and 2.0L turbo petrol engines, producing 132PS-175PS and 200PS, respectively. Transmissions will also be carried over from the pre-facelift lineup including a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
