Next-Gen Bajaj Pulsar To Debut On August 12 – Pulsar 125 Or 150?


Bajaj Auto is set to unveil an all-new Pulsar motorcycle on August 12, 2026. While the bikemaker hasn’t yet revealed the name and details of the upcoming model, it’s expected to be the new Bajaj Pulsar N160. Speculations suggest that it could be the new Bajaj Pulsar 125 or the next-gen Pulsar 150.

During its first quarter FY27 earnings presentation, the Pune-based bikemaker announced plans to launch 10 new motorcycles over the next few weeks. The upcoming lineup will include the 125cc and 150cc bikes and the latest teaser is likely to showcase one of these motorcycles.

Design Changes & Feature Upgrades

The recently spied test mule of the new Bajaj Pulsar features updated body panels, a more muscular fuel tank and a larger front cowl. Other visible design elements include larger tank extensions, a long seat, upright stance, alloy wheels and a side-slung exhaust.

The next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 are also likely to come with features such as a new fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, call alert, turn-by-turn navigation.

Engine Specs

The engine setup is likely to remain unchanged. Currently, the Pulsar 125 is available with a 124.38cc, single-cylinder, 4-strok air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, delivering power worth 11.8PS and 10.8Nm of torque. The Pulsar 150 uses a 149.5cc, single-cylinder, 2V, air-cooled engine, producing a maximum power of 14PS and 13.4Nm of torque. Both engines come equipped with electronic fuel injection and a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.
