OnePlus India today announced that the OnePlus Nord 6 will be launching in the Indian market on April 7.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is a rebranded OnePlus Turbo 6 that was launched in the Chinese market earlier this year. It is largely a gaming-focused device, as that seems to be the general direction OnePlus is heading towards these days. The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and has a 165Hz display, a first for the segment. Having said that, as we have seen with previous OnePlus devices, refresh rates above 120Hz will only be accessible in select games.
Other features include a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip for 3200Hz touch sampling, high-precision 6-axis gyroscope, Spatial Audio Booster for enhancing in-game audio, G2 Wi-Fi chip along with improved 5G connectivity, and finally, a massive 9000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The phone will be available in three colors: Quick Silver, Fresh Mint, and Pitch Black. And if the leaks are accurate, there should also be a Naruto Limited Edition.
No word yet on pricing and availability. We also don’t know yet if there will be a Nord CE6 in the form of a rebranded Turbo 6V.
