The OnePlus Pad 3 that was released in China at the end of 2024 is not the same tablet as the OnePlus Pad 3 that was released globally in mid-2025. More recently, there was the OnePlus Pad 4, which now serves as the basis of the newly announced Pro tablet for China.
The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro has a 13.2” LCD with 3,392 x 2,400px resolution (7:5 aspect ratio). It has a 144Hz refresh rate and 540Hz touch sampling rate. It can boost to 1,000 nits and promises very accurate color rendering plus support for Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid.

The display supports a stylus for note-taking – AI will take your scribblings and transform them into tables and mind maps. An optional keyboard case is available as well if you need to enter more text than you can with the stylus. When used for entertainment, the tablet offers eight on-board speakers for immersive audio.

The Pro slate has a 13,380mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging. OnePlus says that you can watch 25 episodes on a single charge – presumably this means half hour episodes. For comparison, the OnePlus Pad 3 for China had a 9,520mAh battery and the global one a 12,140mAh battery. The Pad 4 has the same 13,380mAh capacity, though with 80W charging.

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It promises a 52% higher score on AnTuTu over the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro and the global OnePlus Pad 3, both of which used the original 8 Elite chip. This is with a 20% uplift in CPU performance and a 23% faster GPU, combined with lower power usage to boot. The Chinese Pad 3 had a mid-range Dimensity 8350 instead, so this is an even bigger performance jump.
The new tablet is available in Dark Brown and Light Green. In China at least, it ships with a charger and USB A-to-C cable. It’s not clear whether the Pro will be available outside of China (but the Pad 2 Pro was available globally, so maybe).

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro comes in 12/256GB, 12/512GB and 16/512GB configurations. These cost CNY 4,400, CNY 4,900 and CNY 5,400, respectively. A currency conversion shows that the base model goes for $650 / £495 / €570 / ₹61,500. You can find it on the Oppo online store in China.
