Just a day after Oppo confirmed the Find X9 Ultra’s launch timeline, the first teaser for the upcoming phone has surfaced. Meanwhile, a tipster has revealed its global and China launch dates, along with the expected sale timeline.
Oppo Find series product manager Zhuo Shijie has confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will feature a Hasselblad-branded periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

In a post on Weibo, Shijie detailed the system, which offers 230mm (10x) native optical zoom and up to 460mm (20x) optical-quality zoom. It is said to use a custom 50MP Samsung JNL fusion sensor with an f/3.5 aperture and gimbal-level OIS.
The setup also introduces a new five-reflection prism design that shortens the optical path to 29mm, compared to 41mm on conventional L-shaped periscope systems. Oppo has further incorporated triple active optical calibration and a special ND coating on the prism to enhance overall zoom performance.
Oppo also shared a 10x periscope telephoto sample and compared it with an image captured using a 10x teleconverter on another smartphone.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is confirmed to launch in April. Meanwhile, tipster Yogesh Brar claims the device will debut globally and in China on April 20, with sales expected to begin in the first week of May.
