The Oppo Reno16 series went global about a week ago and now it’s time for the Indian market. Interestingly enough, the Indian release omits the Pro model for now and it’s being replaced with a more budget-friendly option, the Reno16c. The vanilla Reno16 is here from the very start, though.
The regular Oppo Reno16 seems to be carrying the exact same hardware as its global version, so no deviation from the specs of the non-Chinese iteration.
The Reno16c that tags along doesn’t seem to be any different from its international counterpart either. It offers a toned-down camera setup, but slightly bigger 7,000 mAh battery, compared to the Reno16.
The duo is joined by an Oppo Bubble magnetic external screen. It’s a small, 1.73-inch device that mirrors the phone’s rear camera viewfinder, making it easier to frame yourself and your friends by taking higher-quality selfies with the rear cameras. It also doubles as a camera remote control and it’s IP54 certified and carries a 550 mAh battery.
The Reno16 starts at INR 61,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration, while the 12GB/256GB version can be had for INR 6,000 more.
The Reno16c is asking INR 46,999 with the 8GB/128GB memory configuration, INR 49,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration, and INR 55,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.
The Oppo Bubble is priced at INR 7,999.
All devices are available for pre-order starting July 9 and can be found on Amazon and Flipkart.
