The Poco F9 Ultra will be unveiled tomorrow alongside the F9 Pro. Information on the Ultra has been uploaded to the EPREL database, but it’s not publicly accessible yet – which didn’t stop it from leaking, of course.
It’s just the energy label, which gives the Ultra an A for energy efficiency. Compared to its predecessor, the Poco F8 Ultra, the upcoming model will have longer battery endurance with the official number set at 80 hours and 44 minutes – up from 67 hours for the old model. The battery is rated for 1,000 charge cycles, the same as before.

However, the new phone has lost some ground in terms of durability – it only got a C mark on drop resistance, down from the A of the 2025 model. Ingress protection (dust and water resistance) is the same at IP68 and so is repairability with a C mark.
From leaked info we know to expect a bigger battery on the Poco F9 Ultra – 8,050mAh. This is up from 6,500mAh on the Poco F8 Ultra, but lower than the 9,070mAh battery of the Redmi K100 Pro Max that the F9 Ultra is based on.
Poco has already confirmed that the F9 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the Poco F9 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series instead (and a 6,330mAh battery, according to leaks). Check back tomorrow for the official reveal.
