The Realme 16 5G, which debuted in Vietnam in January, has been confirmed to launch in India next month. It features an Air design with a camera bar at the back along with a ‘selfie mirror’. The India-bound variant seems to have the same specs as the global model.
Realme has confirmed that the device will launch in India on April 2. It will pack a large 7,000mAh battery within an 8.1mm slim body.
The Realme 16 5G is also confirmed to sport a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor. One of its standout features is a mirror-like circular surface on the camera bar, which the company calls the “selfie mirror.” The phone will also include a 50MP front-facing camera.
It will come with a 6.57-inch display with up to 4,200 nits of peak brightness. The handset will also offer an IP69 Pro rating, a 6,050mm2 vapor cooling chamber, and 60W fast charging support.
The phone will be available in Air White and Air Black color options. It will run Android 16-based Realme UI 7 and is promised to receive 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
In Vietnam, the Realme 16 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC. The Indian variant is also likely to offer the same chipset.
