Rumors surfaced late last month that the Realme 16x would soon launch in India. Realme has now confirmed when the smartphone will make its debut.
The Realme 16x will launch in India on August 12. The company has also listed the smartphone on its official India website, revealing several of its key specifications.
Realme has confirmed that the Indian variant will pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and feature a 5,300mm² vapor chamber for cooling.
It will also sport a 144Hz display with a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits and carry an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the back, the Realme 16x features a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by an RGB light ring and an LED flash.
The smartphone will be available in Endurance Brown and Glory White color options. It will run Android 16 and receive 2 years of OS and 3 years of security updates.
