Realme unveils budget Note 80 with 6.74-inch display, 6,300mAh battery


Realme has introduced a new budget phone called the Note 80 in select Southeast Asian markets. The phone is powered by a Unisoc chipset and features a single rear camera and an LCD display.

The Realme Note 80 sports a 6.74-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel supports up to 563 nits of peak brightness in high brightness mode and offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

It is powered by a Unisoc T7250 chipset that features a Mali G57 GPU. The SoC is coupled with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of EMMC 5.1 internal storage. The phone also supports a microSD card for storage expansion.

At the back, the Note 80 offers a single 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. For selfies, there’s a 5MP camera housed inside a waterdrop notch.

The phone packs a 6,300mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. Other specifications include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support with 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS.

The Realme Note 80 is available in Glacier Blue and Storm Black color options. It measures 7.94mm thick and weighs about 197g. As for pricing, in Thailand, the phone starts at THB 3,599 ($115) for the 4GB/64GB variant.
