Production & Pricing
With this new model, Renault India expects the subcompact SUV segment to contribute around 80,000 – 90,000 additional units annually. Touted as a ‘mini Duster’, the production-ready Bridger is expected come as an affordable lifestyle SUV, priced between Rs 10 lakh for the base variant and nearly Rs 20 lakh for the top-end trim. In the company’s product lineup, it will sit above the Kiger and below the Duster.
Based on the brand’s new heavily localized and modular R-GMP platform, the Renault Bridger will be designed and developed in India. Renault’s Chennai-based manufacturing facility might also serve as export hub for the new subcompact SUV.

New NA & Turbo Petrol Engines
According to Autocar, the Renault Bridger could be introduced in India with a new 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol engine options. Its electric iteration might come with two battery packs – 35kWh and 55kWh. As of now, there is no information about its hybrid powertrain.
Modern Styling

Renault Duster Hybrid & 7-Seater SUVs
Before the Renault Bridger, the French automaker will introduce the new Duster hybrid and 7-seater Duster in India. While the strong hybrid version is slated to hit roads around Diwali 2026, the 7-seater model is expected to arrive in late 2026 or early 2027. The 7-seater Renault Duster will share its platform, powertrains, design elements, features and components with its 5-seater sibling.
