Samsung Galaxy A27 emerges in detailed renders

The Galaxy A-series is a key volume driver for Samsung, and with the Galaxy A37 and A57 announcements already in the rear-view mirror, it’s time we turn our attention to the Galaxy A27, which is expected to launch in the coming months. The device was already spotted in a few rumors and a Geekbench listing, and we now have our first live look at its design thanks to a batch of detailed CAD renders.

The design is in line with what we saw from the A37 and A57, with a flat display and vertically aligned camera island with three sensors. Previous rumors suggest we’ll see a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro cam.

Based on the renders, Galaxy A27 will measure 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9 mm, making it a tiny bit shorter and wider than its predecessor and a mere 0.2mm thicker. It will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which is expected to once again offer FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

We also know that Galaxy A27 will launch with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip alongside 6GB RAM. In terms of battery capacity and charging speeds, we can assume Samsung will go with a 5,000 mAh cell and 25W charging once again, just like the last three generations of Galaxy A2X models.
