The Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 will be made official in less than 24 hours, but some stores can’t wait that long. Yesterday, we saw the two models listed in South Africa and today they have surfaced at a store in Kenya.
The Galaxy A37 shows three memory configurations: 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 8/256GB. The store only lists a pricing range instead of individual prices, KES 39,000 to KES 57,000. This converts to $300 to $440, but each region shows different prices since there are different local taxes. Anyway, this range presumably covers the lowest and highest spec, which leaves only the pricing of the 8/128GB configuration ambiguous.
The Galaxy A57 has only two configurations, 8/128GB and 8/256GB, so there is no ambiguity – the pricing range is KES 56,000 to KES 64,000 ($430-$495).
The store also lists the major specs. Both phones have 6.7” 1080p+ 120Hz OLED displays with 1,900 nits peak brightness (1,200 nits HBM). The A57 also offers HDR10+ support like its predecessor, while the A3-series model misses out yet again.
The A37 is powered by the Exynos 1480, while the A57 brings the new Exynos 1680. The 6GB RAM option hasn’t appeared in other stores, so most regions should get 8GB – no more, no less. Both phones use the same battery with 5,000mAh capacity and 45W wired-only charging.
The A57 has an aluminum frame, while the A37 frame is plastic. Both have Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and back, however, and both are rated IP67. The two phones will run Android 16 / One UI 8.5 out of the box and will receive 6 major OS updates.
