Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra goes through durability testing, see if it bends

Yesterday we saw the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra subjected to a teardown on video, and today the same JerryRigEverything channel is back with its now-traditional ‘durability test’. This shows how scratchy the glass is, what happens to the screen if direct fire is applied to it, and, of course, whether a phone bends.

So if you’re interested in finding out how the Galaxy S26 Ultra fares in all those areas, and some bonus ones, grab something to eat and/or drink, take a seat in a comfortable chair, and hit Play below.

In case you couldn’t watch the video for some reason, here’s the nitty gritty. The screen scratches at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, with deeper grooves at level 7. The level 6 scratches are barely visible, though, and that’s better performance than the S25 Ultra.

The sides of the phone are made from aluminum, and the screen takes an open flame for about 20 seconds without any major damage to the pixels. Finally, the all-important bend test. The Galaxy S26 Ultra does not bend, exhibiting zero flex no matter what direction it’s bent from.
