Samsung launched the OG Galaxy SmartTag in 2021 and followed it with the SmartTag2 in 2023. We know Samsung is preparing to launch the third-gen SmartTag soon. Its illustrations that leaked in July revealed the tracker would come in a squircle-like shape. Now we are looking at leaked images of the Galaxy SmartTag3, giving us our first look at it.
The images show the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag3 in two colors and reveal the tracker won’t have a hole for a lanyard or keyring, so you’ll have to shell out extra money for a separate case with an attachment loop if you want to attach the SmartTag3 to different items.

You can also see that the button in the center of the SmartTag3 has the Samsung branding and appears to have a metallic finish.

Samsung hasn’t said anything about the Galaxy SmartTag3’s launch yet, but we expect it to go official within a month or two.
