This year, Samsung is launching the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The two tablets are expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S26 FE, possibly in early September. A new Galaxy Tab Ultra is being released each year, while the vanilla and Plus models alternate years. So in 2025 we got the Galaxy Tab S11, and this year we’ll have the S12+.
Now, the Galaxy Tab S12+ has been certified by Safety Korea, and this process has resulted in the image you can see below, showing the tablet from the front, becoming public.
The tablet has the model numbers SM-X840 and SM-X846N (the latter being the Korean variant with 5G built-in). The image doesn’t reveal much – this is very obviously a Samsung tablet, keeping the same design language as its predecessors.
Unfortunately, the certification doesn’t surface any of the tablet’s specs. However, if this is launching in September, we can expect to hear many more rumors about it in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
