Despite a recent rise in memory chip prices, Samsung has so far refrained from passing the increase on to its older high-end flagships. However, a new report suggests the company may soon raise prices on some of its flagship models from last year.
The report claims that Samsung will soon increase prices for its latest foldables and the Galaxy S25 Edge in South Korea, with the changes expected to take effect today.

According to the report, the 512GB variants of the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy S25 Edge could see a price hike of around KRW 100,000 ($65). Meanwhile, the 1TB models are said to get an increase of about KRW 200,000 ($130).
While the report does not specify whether these price hikes will extend to other markets, the possibility cannot be ruled out.
Notably, Samsung’s latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, launched with higher prices in several markets. In South Korea, all three models in the lineup saw a price hike.
