Samsung launched the Galaxy A57 in March, and now it’s already working on its successor, the Galaxy A58. This was revealed by the GSMA Association’s database. There are no details about the upcoming device yet, but it will have the model number SM-A586x, with the last digit or character indicating the market it will be available in. The model that is in the GSMA database is the SM-A5860, which is the one for the Chinese market.
Additionally, the database also shows that Samsung is working on the Galaxy XCover FR, with the model number SM-G778x. The exact version in the database is the SM-G778B, which is the one intended for Europe and other global markets.
The latest XCover model is the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, which was launched in 2025, so it’s definitely time for a successor to show up sooner, rather than later. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
