Google’s new Gemini Intelligence AI has a feature called Create My Widget – basically, it takes in a plain language description of what the widget should do, figures out how to do it and places the widget right on your homescreen. Now it looks like Samsung will include a similar (or the same) feature in One UI 9.5.
The Samsung version is labeled “My Custom Widget” and can be seen in the screenshot below that was shared by Fahad Ali Javed. It’s not quite clear whether this is just a rebranding of the Google feature or whether Samsung has a competing implementation.

Google has said that it will launch the Create My Widget feature on both Pixel and Galaxy devices by the end of the summer (and there isn’t much summer left). The Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8 are the first Samsung models to support Gemini Intelligence, so if My Custom Widget really is just a rebrand of the Google implementation, then they should be the first to get it.
They launched with One UI 9.0 by the way, so we’ll probably have to wait until they get updated to version 9.5 – though the same applies if the feature in the screenshot is a custom Samsung implementation.
