A few hours ago, as per Darko State News’ Justin Spiro on X, Sherrone Moore’s former assistant coach, LaTroy Lewis, was fired by the Atlanta Falcons after Ann Arbor police found him involved in a sexual assault case when he was working under the former Michigan Wolverines’ coach in 2024.But now, Sherrone Moore has also been allegedly found to be involved in the horrifying case. As per Justin Spiro, when the victim approached him to complain about LaTroy Lewis, the complaint was dismissed.To make things worse, LaTroy Lewis was offered a raise and as per Justin Spiro, the woman was reportedly harassed by Sherrone Moore.Darko State News’ Justin Spiro wrote, “The alleged victim, we’ll call her ‘Jane’, says Moore refused to report the assault after she had confided in him, violating his status as a mandatory reporter under Title IX, and in violation of University of Michigan policy.”He added, “In the weeks proceeding, Moore sent Jane a barrage of sexually graphic messages…”At this point in time, Sherrone Moore and his legal team have stayed silent about the issue.

For the unversed, the initial legal trouble for Sherrone Moore began when he was fired from his job at the University of Michigan on 10th December, 2025 for an inappropriate workplace relationship.Just hours after being fired, the former coach was placed in police custody as a woman alleged that he stalked her and broke into her home to threaten her since he lost his job.There are rumors that Sherrone Moore’s accuser was the woman he was having an affair with at the University of Michigan but her identity has not been revealed yet.For now, Sherrone Moore’s hearing has been set for 11th March after his legal team was granted the request to learn more about the investigation that levied criminal charges on him.
